Lost in waves of unseen creativity?

If I have the urge to create but I don't have inspiration how is this weird state called? in which you really want to write and draw and do something, you feel that you will burst if you don't but somehow you can't muster up neither the energy nor a concept or idea or a feeling or imagination to actually put it onto paper...I hate that. I want to write again, to draw again. it's so annoying not to be able to let out all the feelings and thought you have. It's like all your channels are blocked but not the one with the thoughts.
